Chef Works is on TV…again!

Chef Works coats premiere on "All Mixed Up" reality television series.

Chef Works recently teamed up with our existing client, Art Institutes to provide our JLCL ¾ Sleeve Lightweight Coats to the new cooking reality television series called “All Mixed Up. “

“All Mixed Up” pits 3 culinary student contestants against each other in a competition to see who will create the best 3-course meal with a mix of simple ingredients from America’s favorite brands.

The show premieres on September 7th at 7:30 am ET/PT on Lifetime.

Czech Culinary Team Wins GOLD!

The Czech Culinary Team are delighted with their Gold medal win at the recent Pattaya City Culinary Cup 2012 Competition in Thailand.

Wearing Chef Works ECCW Milan Egyptian Cotton Chef Coats, the six members of the Czech Team included: Manager – Jan Davidek; Captain – Radek Roubíček; Chefs – Antonin Bradáč , Milan Macháček, Martin Liška and Petr Šalplachta. Competing against 14 other teams from ten countries across the globe and judged by Chef Otto Weibel who led a jury of 20 international and 30 local judges, it was a challenging competition.

Also competing were the Hong Kong Culinary Team who won the overall gold wearing the Chef Works SE52 Monza Executive Chef Coat.

Chef Works at NRA Show 2012 – Fashion, Form & Function

Chicago, IL, USA – Chef Works shined at the recent NRA Show 2012 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, USA. This year we were back with a brand new booth adorned with mannequins and a glossy white runway. For the first time, Chef Works featured an in-booth fashion show, which ran 3 times per day from May 5-7 and was the talk of the show drawing much attention. So much so, in fact, that our booth was highlighted in a CBS 2 Morning News segment.

The fashion shows – complete with a DJ and MC, were a huge hit and featured both back and front of the house looks, classic favorites and a preview of our Fall 2012 line, showing our versatile mix and match options. Visitors gathered around the booth to witness the fun and energetic display of Chef Works’ featured looks. Special guest chefs, including Russell Skaall of Fleming’s Steakhouse, Malcom Mitchell and Judson Todd Allen of the new Food Network Star season worked the runway in our new V-Series coats. The product line showcase truly proved that Chef Works is indeed the frontrunner of product innovation and quality in the industry.

The way the looks came to life on the runway really sparked interest and buzz about the Chef Works brand. Chef Works First at FHA Singapore, April 17-20, 2012

For the first time Chef Works exhibit at the popular Food Hotel Asia show.

Chef Works China, Hong Kong – Chef Works China had a fantastic and well received stand at the FHA show in Singapore this April. The stand featured light box artwork, mannequins and sample racks. Chef Works also featured on their Singapore Distributors’ stand, (Westlink Marketing Services) which gave the benefit of a double hit for visitors.

“Chef Works China is delighted to launch the V-series collection at FHA 2012. We firmly believe that there is a gap in the market for this super stylish, lightweight Chef Coat and I look forward to seeing it in situ throughout the hospitality community in Asia,” said Adam Gross, Managing Director of Chef Works China Ltd.

Emirates Culinary Team Win at FHA Singapore, April 17-20, 2012

Chef Works sponsors the Emirates Culinary Team at Food Hotel Asia show in Singapore.

FSL, Dubai – The Chef Works distributors for the Gulf region sponsored the UAE Culinary Team at the highly prestigious FHA Gourmet Team Challenge and individual competitions. The team, led by Executive Chef Cameron Ballendine with Chef Daniel Edward, Chef Dedy Supriady, Chef Manoj Chamara, Chef Mohamed Asham, Chef Farid Farid and Chef Heru Purwanto all travelled from the Address Hotel Downtown Dubai, visit www.theaddress.com

It was certainly worth the trip as the Emirates Team won an impressive 12 medals at the event against very strong competition.

2011 NRA Show Summary

Chef Works had yet another successful showing at the 2011 NRA Show, held May 21-24 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. The colorful mannequin-lined display looked amazing and showcased our fantastic range of uniforms, including our award-winning Universal Shirt from the Chef Works Color Collection, as well as some classic favorites.

Chef Works’ Color Collection drew much attention from new and old customers alike who loved the vibrant colors and versatile looks. The designs showcased that Chef Works is truly the leader in innovation and quality, putting us far above the competition in the global culinary apparel market. “We [were] delighted to be back at the NRA this year with our award-winning Color Collection” says Dale Gross, CEO of Chef Works Inc. “The response to this vibrant collection has been phenomenal and I believe this is due to the variety of mix and match color options available to customers with either small or larger budgets.”

The annual National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show (NRA) is the largest single gathering of restaurant, foodservice and lodging professionals.
