Chicago, IL, USA – Chef Works shined at the recent NRA Show 2012 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, USA. This year we were back with a brand new booth adorned with mannequins and a glossy white runway. For the first time, Chef Works featured an in-booth fashion show, which ran 3 times per day from May 5-7 and was the talk of the show drawing much attention. So much so, in fact, that our booth was highlighted in a CBS 2 Morning News segment.
The fashion shows – complete with a DJ and MC, were a huge hit and featured both back and front of the house looks, classic favorites and a preview of our Fall 2012 line, showing our versatile mix and match options. Visitors gathered around the booth to witness the fun and energetic display of Chef Works’ featured looks. Special guest chefs, including Russell Skaall of Fleming’s Steakhouse, Malcom Mitchell and Judson Todd Allen of the new Food Network Star season worked the runway in our new V-Series coats. The product line showcase truly proved that Chef Works is indeed the frontrunner of product innovation and quality in the industry.
“We were thrilled to be back at the NRA this year with a brand new booth direction” says Dale Gross, CEO of Chef Works Inc. “The new booth and fashion shows were a hit and the response to the new products has been phenomenal. The way the looks came to life on the runway really sparked interest and buzz about the Chef Works brand. I feel we successfully displayed our capabilities as the Outfitter of the Hospitality Professional Worldwide and our global presence.”

“When you have a good idea you should run with it—that seems to be the message behind the Universal Shirt. By extending its popular fabric technology beyond the kitchen, Chef Works has captured additional market share, no small feat in these challenging times. The Universal Shirt comes in a variety of colors, too, meaning that restaurants can establish a coordinated image throughout the property, a desirable asset in this niche. Who says innovation has to be complicated?”
